Room 210 is a GREAT place to learn!1. Respect!
A classroom is a place of learning and can be fun! When I am talking or one of your classmates are talking, LISTEN. Also, I will not tolerate any negativity towards anyone in our class. Be positive! Lets make our Math class a great place to learn! 2. Ask questions! It's important to fully understand what we are learning about in class. Chances are that if you do not understand a topic or concept, at least one other person may be in the same position. Also, I'm not that mean! Come see me (when the time is appropriate) for extra help or any issues. 3. Its OK to make mistakes! Everyone makes mistakes! It is how we learn! Why do you think they put erasers on pencils!? I want you to try your best at all things we do in class. Don't leave any blank answers! 4. Do your homework! If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the work you've missed. Check the class folder at the front of the class as soon as you're back. 5. ALWAYS BRING A PENCIL FOR MATH! 6. You must bring your agenda to every class. Agendas are given to help you organize your work. Get used to filling it out each day and stay organized! 7. Consequences for bad behaviour. Understand that if you are not on task or disrupting other students, you will be asked to stay in a lunch or after school. |
